Brilio AI Sales Assistant for Shopify

Shoppers ask before they buy. Is this actually waterproof? Will it arrive before Saturday? Does it run small? On most stores those questions arrive after hours, or never get asked at all — the visitor just leaves.

Brilio AI Sales Assistant is our answer to that, and it is now live on the Shopify App Store. It launched as Brilio Concierge and is the same app under a plainer name. It is a storefront assistant that answers from the products and policies already in your Shopify admin, shows the product it is talking about, and adds it to the cart — without a shopper ever leaving the chat.

It reads your catalogue live, so there is nothing to train

Most store chatbots need to be fed. You upload a product export, or point a crawler at your site, and the bot answers from that copy. The moment you change a price, sell out of a size, or add a product, the copy is stale — and the bot keeps answering from it confidently.

Brilio AI Sales Assistant does not ingest your catalogue at all. When a shopper asks about a product, it queries the Shopify Admin API at that moment and answers from what it finds. That has three practical consequences:

  • Prices and stock are never out of date, because they are read when the question is asked.
  • New products work immediately, with no re-training, re-indexing or re-syncing step.
  • There is no product limit on any plan. A catalogue of fifty and a catalogue of fifty thousand are the same amount of setup: none.

The one thing it does index is your policies — refund, shipping, and the rest — because those live in Shopify Settings rather than on a product. You press Read my policies once in Settings, and returns and delivery questions start getting answered from your own wording.

The answer comes with a buy button

An assistant that recommends a product and then leaves the shopper to go and find it has done half a job. When the assistant names a product, it renders a card underneath the answer with the product image, the real price, and a working Add to cart button.

The card is honest about what it can do. A product with one variant in stock gets Add to cart. A product with several variants gets Choose options, because picking a size on the shopper's behalf is guessing. A sold-out product gets neither.

When it does not know, it says so

This is the part we care most about, and it is the hardest thing to demonstrate in a feature list.

The failure that damages a store is not a bot that cannot answer. It is a bot that invents a delivery date, or a size that does not exist, and the customer screenshots it and holds you to it. So the assistant is built to refuse. If the answer is not in your catalogue or your policies, it says it cannot confirm, explains what it did check, and offers to put the shopper in front of a person.

That refusal is not a dead end. The shopper leaves an email address in the chat, you get an email with their question, and a question you could not answer at 11pm becomes a lead instead of a lost sale.

Setting it up takes three steps

There is no builder, no flow chart and no intent training. The dashboard tracks three things and then gets out of the way:

  • Turn on the app embed in your theme. The chat button does not appear on your storefront until you do, so nothing goes live by surprise.
  • Read your policies from Settings, so returns and shipping questions are answered in your words.
  • Give it a name and a greeting, plus a short persona describing how it should talk to your shoppers.

Everything a shopper asks is recorded in Conversations, newest first and searchable, with the full exchange one click away. The rows where someone asked for a human are marked, with the email they left.

What it can and cannot see

The assistant asks Shopify for three things: your products, your orders, and your store policies. That is the whole list. It reads them; it does not write to your store, and it cannot change a product, a price or an order.

On the storefront it speaks the language of the page it is on, so a store selling into several markets does not need a separate setup for each one.

Pricing

Plans are priced on AI answers per month, and every plan includes every feature:

  • Starter — $29/month, 1,000 AI answers
  • Growth — $79/month, 3,500 AI answers
  • Scale — $199/month, 10,000 AI answers
  • Volume — $449/month, 25,000 AI answers

There is a 14-day free trial, no product limit on any plan, and no overage — your plan price is the most you can be billed in a month. If you use the whole allowance the assistant pauses and tells you, rather than quietly running up a bill. Uninstalling removes the embed from your theme and stops billing through Shopify.

Try it on your own catalogue

The honest test of an assistant like this is whether it answers a question about your products correctly, so install it and ask it something only your store would know.

Install Brilio AI Sales Assistant from the Shopify App Store, turn on the app embed, and ask it about a product you have in stock. If it does not know, it will tell you — which is rather the point.
